Max McGuire

I’m a Brighton based illustration student studying at The University of Brighton. I mainly work with digital mediums to make sequential images and comics, that star colourful characters and happy plots! Most of these pieces are, more often than not, aimed at younger audiences and children. I also really enjoy working with character designs and have recently become interested in printing!

I’m Trans! is a zine all about the trans experience. It is made to be a collection of comics, for trans people to find relatable. A lot of the stories told in this zine are true anecdotes from both myself and some of my friends who are also transgender. It was interesting and so much fun to make this with them in mind!
