Metropolis has developed a volunteer programme for young people (18-25 years old) from marginalised communities* who are looking for experience in a gallery setting & arts organisation.
The volunteer programme aims to provide the first access to the art world and enable individuals to learn skills and achieve personal development.
The programme will be developed across 4 main roles: Front of house – Social Media – Events – Research and development. Each volunteer will be invited to pick up tasks from each role in order to create a complete experience.
Metropolis will provide learning and development opportunities tailored to the interests and needs of the single volunteer. Each volunteer will be involved in monthly support and supervision sessions to discuss their expectations and performance.
If you are interested in volunteering with us, please fill out this form and send it via email to metropoliscontemporary@gmail.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!!!
*Examples of marginalised communities include, but are not limited to, groups excluded due to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, socio-economic background, language, and/or immigration status.
